A marriage of traditional farmhouse and high-function contemporary design. The focus of this project, beyond creating a more efficient kitchen, laundry and mudroom design, was to ensure the subtlest of transitions between the original 1850s farmhouse finishes and the more contemporary finishes selected for the overhaul of the rear of the home. Our clients’ collection of antique furniture was the icing on the cake; ensuring the rhythms of patina and materiality ring true between the old and new.  Featured on houseandhome.com and Cottages & Bungalows.
